At the request of U.S. Special Forces Personnel, Brian Hoffner has added the Special Forces Hand Spear to the line.  They wanted D2 Steel for the blade so we made it happen.  We are able to get two more hardness points for the Special Forces blade, 58-60 HRC over the 56-58 for the standard Hand Spear.  They also wanted the serrations on the blade which we delivered as well.  It’s still the great Hand Spear Design that is the perfect everyday carry fixed blade for police, SWAT, military professionals, and citizens alike. So well balanced, it is a strong and powerful full tang knife that is incredibly ergonomic, but beautiful as well.  With a handle that matches the Hoffner folder, including the Index Divots, muscle memory is the same. Whether in the sands of Afghanistan on the kit of the American Warrior, or in the wilderness on the belt of the American Hunter, the Hand Spear is American perfection.

D2 Steel – Special Forces Operators asked for D2 and we delivered.  It’s hardened to 58-60 HRC, two points higher than the Standard hand Spear. Harder, longer, stronger, which means that it will take an edge and hold an edge, as well as excellent resistance to wear. This is one tough special forces blade folks!
